The Board of Directors of Southeast Works is a group of men and women who are informed and passionate about their work in casting the direction, setting policy and guiding the culture of the community of people, parents and staff that make up Southeast Works.  Over half our members are parents, grandparents or siblings of persons with developmental disabilities.  We represent many professions and areas of expertise including law, finance, human resources, engineering and development as we seek to align many minds on the single purpose of assisting persons to live productive, independent and fulfilling lives.

The full Board meets monthly on the 4^th Thursday.  We have organized in committees including finance, quality assurance and facilities development with an executive committee guiding all and supporting our executive director.  We stay focused through attention to our Strategic Plan which is developed on a regular basis with the help of outside consultants.  

Being part of this Board is a heart felt positive experience by all who’ve been part of us.  One of our Board members put it this way,  “I thought this would be a fluff experience.  I was wrong, and am so thrilled to be part of this opportunity.”
